Move forward to a new style with peace of mind, while your past favorite gets a second life. Every submission is reviewed by hand, and eligible pieces will be refurbished and rehomed with care.
Who qualifies for Trade-In?
At this time, the program is open to U.S. customers only.
Most Glass Ladder bags are eligible for review. Wear, stains, and minor damage are completely okay and do not automatically disqualify a bag from the program.
If you're not sure whether your bag qualifies, we encourage you to apply. Every submission is reviewed individually by our team.
We are now accepting applications for our second round of trade-ins.
How does it work?
After you apply, our team will review your photos and provide an estimated trade-in credit. If approved, you'll receive a prepaid shipping label and instructions for sending your bag in.
Once your bag arrives and is inspected, we'll issue your final trade-in credit as a Glass Ladder Digital Gift Card (valid for two years) to use toward a future purchase.
Eligible bags are then cleaned, refreshed, and prepared for their next chapter.

What bags qualify for Trade-In?

What do I receive for my Trade-In?
Approved bags receive trade-in credit based on the style, condition, and overall eligibility of the bag, with credits currently ranging up to $50 per item.
Final credit is issued as a Glass Ladder Digital Gift Card and can be used toward a future purchase.
How long do I have to send my bag in?
Once approved, you'll receive a prepaid shipping label and have 10 days to send your bag to our workshop.
Because we prepare and process trade-ins in small batches, approvals may be released to another customer if a bag is not shipped within the 10-day window.
What happens to my bag next?
Eligible bags are cleaned, refreshed, and prepared for a future Pre-Loved shopping event, giving them a second life with someone new.
Do you offer recycling or repair services?
Yes. We offer paid repair services for select Glass Ladder bags.
If you're interested in a repair, please contact support@glassladderco.com and our team will be happy to help determine whether your bag is eligible.
Can I return an item purchased with my credit?
Items purchased using trade-in credit may be exchanged, but trade-in credit cannot be re-issued once it has been used.
If you choose to return an item purchased with trade-in credit, the credit is forfeited. You're welcome to exchange the item for another style of equal value instead.
